22 Weeks

Our Little One is now nearly 11 inches long (the size of a spaghetti squash) and weighs about 1 pound. Her little face is fully formed. She's starting to look like a miniature newborn at this point with her lips, eyelids, and eyebrows all becoming more distinct. Her body is covered with lanugo now (a fine hair). She is starting to settle into sleep cycles and sleep about 12-14 hours a day (just like Daddy!). We can tell when she is sleeping and when she is awake by her activity. Just as I had feared, she sleeps most of the day but becomes really active at night and first thing in the morning.

Aunt Joanna, we're all waiting on you to post your name guess!

The middle name has been cracked!

Guessed by my mom who does not have internet access. She shares more than DNA with her daddy, her middle name is AUSTIN!

Word on the street is that someone has a pretty good guess for the first name. Maybe you all will get lucky and she'll post her guess :)

Clue #3

Her middle name is also someone else's middle name.

21 weeks

This week LO is about 10.5 inches long or the length of a carrot. She weighs nearly 13 oz. On Tuesday we found out that she weighed 12 oz, so she is right on target. I had my monthly visit on Thursday, and was told that I measure perfectly for the date. LO is extremely active now and I feel her throughout the day. We've found that she doesn't like to be poked and prodded too much. She wiggles away as fast as she can, which made it a little difficult for the ultrasound tech to get all the pictures/measurements she needed. At least we got to spend a little extra time watching her though.

I finally have a respectable bump!
